ADV SII

ADV integrates the new VAT management system based on the Immediate Supply of Information (SII) into its ERP.

It is a new Value Added Tax (VAT) management system, whose functionality lies in the presentation of detailed information on invoicing issued and received. With this information we present, the VAT registration books of output and input VAT are configured in real time. This communication will be made through the Electronic Headquarters of the Tax Agency (AEAT). Companies will have to provide the invoicing records (not the invoices) electronically.

When did it come into effect and who are obligated?

As of July 1, 2017, the group (63,000 companies) that was inexcusably included in the “SII” is composed of all those taxpayers whose obligation to self-assess Value Added Tax is monthly, including “large companies with a turnover of over €6 million”, “those registered in the VAT Refund Register (REDEME)” and “VAT Groups”.

SHIPMENT
  • The shipment is done through a scheduled task and totally transparent to the user, in a synchronous way, and of the two books of invoices issued and received.

OPERATIONS

In both, the operations of registration, cancellation and modification are carried out. Once the information is sent, the AEAT automatically performs the validation, both in terms of format and business rules.

FORMAT

If the message does not pass any of the validations at format level, it returns a message specifying the error and generates an email indicating that the submission was NOT valid.

VALIDATION

If the message passes the validations, the business validations are performed, returning the acceptance or not by the AEAT. The statuses are: accepted, accepted with errors or rejected (in which case the reason for not having been accepted is stated).

VERIFICATION

We receive the secure verification code (CSV), if valid, leaving a record of its presentation in the VAT records themselves.

It will not be necessary to file forms 340, 347 and 390.
